    Early in 2008, Les Brown met H.E. The Ambassador of Rwanda, Claver Gatete, at the Embassy in London, to discuss social housing design and finance.  The President of Rwanda, Paul Kagame, had visited Scotland last year and been impressed by the way Scotland handles its housing problems, so he asked his ambassador to report on the matter.  With help from Shona Stephen of Communities Scotland Glasgow, Les assembled a dossier to assist the Government of Rwanda, and presented this to the ambassador at their meeting.
