As FBN, along with the construction industry, continually develops, new client services are continually being required. As the Scottish Government  has provided funding to RSLs to purchase private housing stock to procure new homes, so the need to adequately assess the quality of this housing in terms of Housing for Varying Needs and Secured By Design has arisen . As private housing has not being designed with the social sector in mind clients need an indication of a properties suitability to assess if these match their existing needs before any procurement takes place. To establish that developments or properties are suitable, we provide a service to analyse them with respect to the level of compliance with Housing for Varying Needs, Clients Design Guides and Secure by Design. This is a service we now provide to the social housing or private sector. Please contact FBN for further details.
