    FBN are pleased to be working with DAS Design to provide architectural services, post planning to completion, for a new Anaerobic Digestion plant to generate 2 Megawatts of Green Electricity. The facility, located at Barkip near Beith in North Ayrshire, is being developed by clients Zebec Biogas Ltd. The former landfill site is to process 75,000 tonnes of agricultural waste per annum and should be operational early in 2011.The proposed electrical generation will contribute towards Scotland’s renewable energy targets and help to combat climate change.The new plant represents another step in support for Scotland’s Zero Waste agenda.
