A new build scheme on a backyard site to an existing hostel, to provide accommodation for 20, both physically and mentally challenged people. A special aspect of this scheme was the variety of single person flats which allowed varying amounts of sharing and contact between the residents, as well as a roof garden. This scheme won the RIBA Housing Design Award in 1993.
