Working with clients Thenew Housing Association and Crossreach social care agency, an extension is to be added to the rear of Elmbank House. The extension will be a 12 bedroom with ensuite drug and alcohol rehabilitation unit.  The facility will also house a craft room, IT room and teaching kitchen to assist in developing life skills. Although the design of the new building is sympathetic to Elmbank House, we are incorporating a solar hot water heating system and a rainwater harvesting system for flood prevention. Part of the existing outbuildings originally linked to Elmbank will be converted to offices serving the care staff.
